zzzzz day reviews and daily specials for 10/09

Pretty boring day for me today. Opening was OK. Took CMG long from my top watch idea. Too bad it was stopped out but it did nice run! Nice to see idea is working.

After seeing mkt moving sideway, I decided to take a nap. I did not miss mucj but VVUS and LLY were nice movers. Not sure I was able to trade these right though. It’s tempting to short these runners becuase “it’s up too much” but usually they end up holding up well and finish hod.

VVUS 19 area b/o was perfect long. 19.60 are break made shorts panicked I think. Given the range, this can be good long or short but 1st day break out is dangerous to short if you don’t cut loss quickly. I  learned my lesson on ALNY this year. Not again(hopefully..)

 

LLY a little more scalp friendly than VVUS imo. Nice long spot after initial pop $49 52wk high. Not a classic parabolic type. Notice the range.

 

CMG nice bounce off daily support area.

 

KMX short. Looked heavy at 23.75 area. Start showing wicks. 2 quick scalps s/s.

 

GDOT idea on this s/s was this thing is going for 52wk low. Held support and stopped out by the pop.

SRPT bounce watch. BIOF VVUS LLY opening pop and s/s watch then eye for ABDC set up. VRNG r/g watch. If gap up, pop and s/s watch but just scalp imo. Maybe big squeeze. Still lots of buyers looks like.
