week review and daily specials for 7/23
Another lesson learned. As I posted on Monday I made a big mistake a and lost about $4k on ALNY trade.
I’ve been aware of that my big loss is always come from s/s plays. This week’s loss just conformed that and I need to be:
- more careful about position size
- paying more attention how chart is forming vs classic speed up parabolic move
- more flexible and flip to long if it has strength(tried but bad entry and couldn’t stay and add because of initial position size)
- playing more scalp on channel pull back and bounce
From my experience, I think first day big green candle with news catalyst on pharma/bio is usually better long than short. Not sure there was news but QCOR on 7/9, ATHN on 7/18 etc..
This kind of loss on my account size is not good any way I see it. I must learn from this and I need to improve my future performance.
I’m still in the procces of moving to BSI. There was a misunderstanding and Suretrade held my funds 3 extra days. It should be completed next week..
No trade on these. Just thought interesting and I was chatting with my buddies about them.

STEM: volatility is still there so maybe good opening move like Friday. Watch for morning pop or drop. If consolidate, possible 52′s watch.
PPHM: can squeeze anytime if it can hold upper .10′s and .20s. Hopufully more upside for better s/s point.
ASTX: r/g watch if gaps down. Opening pop for s/s watch.
WFM: hopufully 80 area wash in the am then bounce.
CPRX: speed up move watch. r/g too
VVUS: anticipate r/g play if gaps down.
