Today’s review and Daily Specials for 8/28

Today’s goal was to focus on entries and don’t turn profits into losses. Let’s see how I did..

KORS: opening pop s/s

From friday KORS s/s loss. Waited too long. I had small profit one point and should have taken it.

GMCR g/r play

GGP parabolic s/s

NTE small parabolic s/s.

So it was a all-green day! Small profits but I am happy that I was able to follow my plan I could scale out on most of todays trades but then I thought to myself “what is my core strategy? more importantly, what am I looking for form each trade?” The reason why I do para s/s and bounce plays is I want to see results quickly. I know I don’t have patients but when I am in slump I tend to forget these basics and mix strategies, follow other traders blindly.. and result is usually not good.

So.. back to basics again! Stick with what I am good at and accumulate gains(and yes cut loss early)!

Katsu, awesome trades KORS, GGP. Man I can’t believe you top-ticked GGP. Way to go!
Was there something special about GMCR today that made you take the short g/r?
NTE was that an over/under 8.50 play or did you take it short because it was speeding up?

thx jake! GMCR seems to follow the mkt nicely so I took a chance and went s/s for g/r play. Felt that spot was good risk/reward.
On NTE, yes it was mainly because it was speeding up. Wasn’t really paying attention to 8.5 but saw two big pop candles with volume and I thought I can scalp in this volatility. IL’s alert helped me on GGP. I think I shorted a few seconds earlier than him. Thought I was a little too early but made me feel more confident after saw his alert.
