Today’s review and Daily specials for 8/22

I’ve been extremely busy on my day job lately! I finally got a much needed full day-off, so I’ll do some review of my trades.

As I talking in my blog, I’ve been having trouble to keep my performance consistent. There are no big losses but I think there are too many random trades. Also, execution is sloppy, turn profit into loss, not properly scaling out and the most importantly cutting late.

One of the reasonS why this is happening is I am too tired and can”t really focused. As you all know market is not providing many opportunities, but there are some nice moves in the AM. I will try not to trade too many and put my attention to just 5~7 things.

QIHU: scaled in from opening pop 21.37 area. Added along the way but decided to cover around 10:20. I went back in 10min later then did final add at 21.02. Covered all at 21.48. It provided really nice fade opportunity but i was tooo busy with SKX.

CTRP: nice opening run. Nice small parabolic s/s. I decided to get out all .90 area because morning rip can turn into ABCD pattern.

Scalped at opening for small+. Got a starter s/s at 23.80 then added along the way. Ended up making $ but a close call. Could turned into disaster. I should have got out of starter position under 24.

AAPL: lonnged on bounce play. Last 2:10 s/s was a bad idea. Need to wait for weakness.

SKX: tried s/s twice for fade play. Both successful. It was tricky but I was patient enough to get some nice fade. I really tried to focus on this trade today and so glad it paid off!

QIHU: down 50c currently from e/r. Possible r/g then s/s.

FSLR: same idea as QIHU but hopefully nice pop at AM to squeeze out o/n shorts.

YELP: possible bounce play

GMCR: if gap up, I’ll be watching as s/s candidate but hoping for nice r/g play. DMND is similar.
