oops! -4k watch your size!! a set back and daily specials for 7/17

As I planned yesterday, I doubled my position size but it worked against me today.

First few trades were ok. Took quick profits and small losses but then I got whipsawed on ALNY. Good thing(big thanks to Nate’s warning!!) I wasn’t stubborn and kept averaging up all day but I did many “pay back trades” and ended up with many medium size losses.

I listed some trades on the chart but there are few more losses.

Last s/s was successful however at that point my funds were being transferred and were able to short small shares.

So the loss is about 4k. Lost 4week worth of gain. I really should stopped trading this after THE 1st loss but I kept trading it.

Really wish I got out at 15.10s pullback as Nate alerted. I think I got frustrated from there. I had DAS problem midday and I was pretty much lost my cool.

 

My plan was to keep Suretrader for option and box purpose but I think I will close it and focus on BSI account since I don’t have much buying power in it from today’s losses.

BSI has better leverage but I really have to watch my size when I try to scale in.

I will be starting from 6k at BSI. I will keep my goal of going over 25k at end of this year but until I hit 10k, I will keep my position back to normal.
