About
My name is Katsuhiro Yamashita. I’m from Japan. I trade almost everyday and in the evening I am working as a sushi chef in Seattle WA.
I have been trading individual stocks for about 3 years. During this time, I have experienced many ups and downs. There were many times I thought about quit trading because of losses. I remember one time I lost half month worth of my full time job. I felt depressed and lost confidence about my skill. But every time failed, I pushed myself and kept trading because this is my passion and I enjoy trading more than anything else.
I leaned so many things from my mistakes and with a help of fellow traders at Investorsunderground I was able to narrow down to a few strategies I can use with confidence.
My set-ups: LONG
1. morning SELL-OFF reversal
2. cup&handle break out
3. pump&dump long/gapper
4. over-sold at resistance bounce
5. morning break out from 3min range
6. Whole# magnet/break out
7. red to green after morning pull back
SHORT
1. morning SPIKE reversal
2. Afternoon fade
3. pump&dump short
4. over-bought parabolic at resistance
5. opening break down from 3min range
6. Large cap channel scale in short(swing puts)
The most important thing I learned in the past three years is “stay in the game”. Have a plan before enter the trade and always follow it to protect yourself because without money you can’t trade.
Each night, I will put up a list of stocks that I scanned form Stockfetcher. I think whether you work in a restaurant or trade a stock, it’s important to prepare yourself for the action.
I will be very happy if you find my scan useful. Especially if you are working in the restaurant industry and trading stock like me. It is not easy to wake up 5am and work till 11pm.
